We are pleased to present – in partnership with the Palo Alto Library – the award winning author NoViolet Bulawayo. Save the date – Thursday May 8 at 7 PM at the Lucie Stern Community Center. NoViolet is the author of “We Need New Names.” It’s the story of a girl and her friends in a Zimbabwe shantytown and her immigration as a teen to the US. We’ll follow the event with a “Community Read” experience and a discussion online and somewhere on the Peninsula (TBD).
